In 2007 we celebrated Fiona’s 50th year trekking up Mount Toubkal - the highest peak of the Atlas at 4167m. In 2008 a more extensive tour included an overnight stay at the restored Kasbah Ellouze close to Ait Benhaddou of the beautiful mud kasbahs and 5 days trekking in the Jbel Siroua between Mount Toubkal and the Anti Atlas. In 2009 we headed further south with a desert trek from Zagora to the dunes at M’hamid and west with a trek along the verdant Atlantic coast from the beautiful town of Essaouira. In 2010 we are offering – “Castles & Canyons” Trek: Marrakech, High Atlas and Anti Atlas, a 10 day Itinerary with a vast range of contrasting experiences and activities and Atlantic Coast Trek 7 day Itinerary including 2 nights in Essaouira, and visit to Marrakech. |
